About Us

Innovative Manufacturing Inc. was established in 1948 as Insulmastic Building Products, to provide waterproofing and corrosion protection products for the construction and industrial markets.

In 2005, we changed our name to Innovative Manufacturing to reflect our continuous development of new products and markets. We now manufacture a broad range of coatings, specialty cements, and tape for the roofing, concrete, automotive and maritime industries. We are a major distributor of the Becker Acroma line of industrial wood coatings as well as a selection of associated paint shop products including Binks and DeVilbiss spray finishing equipment. Sales of our coatings extend beyond British Columbia into markets including Western Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Innovative Manufacturing moved to its present location on Annacis Island in Delta in 1985. Along with our manufacturing plant and distribution in Delta, we have a branch location in Edmonton.

Our marine products are sold by our many worldwide distributors.
